Cadbury Coconut Chocolate Nests
These Cadbury coconut chocolate nests made with Cadbury mini eggs, sweetened shredded coconut, and dark chocolate, are an essential Easter dessert.
Equipment
- Microwave-safe mixing bowl
- Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
- Cookie tray
- Cookie scoop
- Spoon
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups Dark chocolate candy melts
- 3.5 oz Sweetened shredded coconut
- 10 oz Cadbury mini eggs
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate candy melts in a large microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions.*
- Stir a 1/2 cup of the sweetened shredded coconut into the melted chocolate and mix to combine. Repeat this process with the remaining coconut.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, spoon a round ball of the chocolate-coconut mixture onto a baking tray lined with a sheet of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Create a small indent using the back of your spoon.
- Add three Cadbury eggs before the chocolate hardens.
- Repeat Step 3 - Step 5 with the remaining chocolate-coconut mixture and Cadbury eggs.
- Let the chocolate harden.
