This Valentines Day cake recipe is easy and made with a chocolate cake mix and decorated with a red and pink mini heart cake design.See notes at bottom of recipe regarding time.
First, bake the cake in a 9×13 cake pan according to the instructions on the box.
Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack before transferring it to a serving tray.
Frost & Decorate The Cake
Once the cake has cooled completely, apply a crumb coat.
Then, chill the cake for 30 minutes.
Next, apply another coat of vanilla frosting.
Lastly, decorate the cake by adding red and pink hearts around the cake.
