Chocolate

  • Dark chocolate candy melts
  • White chocolate candy melts
  • Green chocolate candy melts

Toppings

  • St. Patrick's Day sprinkles
  • Rainbow nonpareils
  • Gold sugar crystals
  • Skittles

Instructions

  • Melt each of the chocolate candy melts in a separate microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions, or follow these guidelines:
-- Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir thoroughly.
-- Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir thoroughly.
-- Continue microwaving in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly, until all the chocolate has just about melted.
The remaining few pieces should melt on their own (this is a good way to ensure you don’t burn the chocolate).
  • Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the parchment paper. Smooth the chocolate to reach 1/8 inch thinkness.
  • Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate.
  • Drizzle the melted green chocolate over the dark chocolate.
  • Top with St. Patrick's Sprinkles, rainbow nonpareils, gold sugar crystals, and skittles before the chocolate hardens.
  • Once the chocolate has hardened, break into individual pieces.

Notes

  2. Other bark topping ideas include mint M&Ms, rainbow airhead, Oreos, and Andes chocolate mints.
  3. Using these same ingredients (plus pretzel rods), you can quickly and easily make St. Patrick's Day pretzels too!
