Valentine Cake Mix Cookies: Table of Contents
Valentine Cake Mix Cookies #1:
Red Velvet Cookies
Ingredients
- Red velvet cake mix (1 box)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Vegetable oil (½ cup)
- Dove heart chocolates (24 pieces)
Instructions
- First, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl.
- Then, chill the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Next, using a cookie scoop, drop 12 one-inch round balls onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the dough (again) in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- While the dough is chilling, unwrap 12 chocolate hearts.
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Bake for 11 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately place a chocolate heart on each cookie.
- Lastly, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Valentine Cake Mix Cookies #2:
Chocolate M&M Cookies
Ingredients
- Chocolate cake mix (1 box)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Vegetable oil (½ cup)
- Valentine’s Day M&Ms (3/4 cup, divided)
Instructions
- First, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl.
- Then, fold in ½ cup of the M&Ms.
- Next, chill dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Then using a cookie scoop, drop 12 one-inch round balls onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Optionally, press 1 or 2 more M&M’s on the outside of the dough.
- Chill the dough (again) in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Bake for 11 minutes.
- Lastly, remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes before transferring them to a rack to cool completely.

Vanilla Frosted Cookies With Sprinkles
Ingredients
- French vanilla cake mix (1 box)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Vegetable oil (½ cup)
- Vanilla frosting (1 container)
- Pink food coloring gel (6-7 drops)
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
Instructions
- First, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl.
- Next, chill dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Then using a cookie scoop, drop 12 one-inch round balls onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the dough (again) in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- While the dough is chilling, prepare the pink frosting.
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Bake for 11 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes before transferring them to a rack to cool completely.
- Lastly, frost the cookies with pink icing and Valentines sprinkles.
