- Next, using a cookie scoop, shape the dough into one-inch round balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, about 2″ apart.
- Bake for 9 – 11 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes before transferring them to a rack to cool completely.
- Lastly, frost the cookies with vanilla icing and add your chocolate of toppings (pecan halves, pecan crumbles, sprinkles, or a carrot design).
