The following four ingredients are needed to make these cookies:
- Vanilla or funfetti cake mix
- Eggs
- Vegetable oil
- Rainbow sprinkles

- Mixing bowl

- Measuring cups
- Cookie scoop
- Cooling rack
- Parchment paper
How To Make Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies
- First, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl.
- Next, fold in the sprinkles.
- Then, cover and chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Using a cookie scoop, shape the dough into one-inch round balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, about 2″ apart.
- Optionally, roll the cookie dough balls in sprinkles.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes.
- Next, remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest on the baking tray for 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies Recipe Notes
- Store baked and cooled cake mix cookies in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days, or in the fridge, to last a bit longer.
- Add more sprinkles on top of the cookie dough balls before baking (optional step).
- Mix in 1/3 cup of chocolate or white chocolate chips.
- I used a vanilla cake mix and added a lot of extra sprinkles, but you could simply substitute a funfetti cake mix instead.

- Any holiday (just swap the rainbow sprinkles for sprinkles that fit the occasion, e.g. red and green sprinkles for Christmas).
